The Black Pakkawood Hunter has a 4.25-inch satin stainless drop point blade with a full tang at 8.75 inches overall, a black Pakkawood handle, a brass guard, a lanyard hole and a brown leather belt sheath.

Pakkawood is wood veneer impregnated with resin under pressure. It keeps the visible grain of natural timber while resisting the swelling, cracking and moisture that untreated wood picks up outdoors, and it needs none of the oiling plain wood wants. The drop point sits the tip below the spine line, so it stays out of the way when opening an animal and leaves a long belly for skinning.

A brass guard separates the edge from the grip, keeping the hand back when a wet blade is pushed through hide. Full tang construction runs the steel the whole length of the handle, so there is no joint to loosen or trap blood. Explore more Hunting Knives.
