Black Oak Wireless 3-Level LED Dimmer Controller

The Black Oak Wireless 3-Level LED Dimmer Controller adds remote brightness control to compatible LED lighting circuits. It provides selectable 25%, 50%, and 75% dimming levels in addition to basic on/off control. That makes it useful when a light that is appropriate at full output becomes uncomfortable or excessive during docking, loading, campsite use, or close-range work. The handheld remote allows those changes to be made without reaching for a hard-mounted control each time.

For proper operation, the dimmer module must be wired between the relay and the light. That placement allows the module to control the output after the relay has supplied power to the lighting circuit. The unit is rated for 12 to 24V systems and supports a maximum output current of 25A. The handheld controller uses a CR2025 or CR2032 battery.

The dimmer module measures approximately 5 in long by 1.5 in wide by 1.25 in high. The package includes the dimmer module and wireless controller. Before installation, the connected lighting load should be checked against the 25A maximum so the controller is not undersized for the circuit. The module should also be mounted in a protected location where wiring can remain secure and accessible for service.
