The BenchMark Neck Knife hangs from a cord at 6 inches overall, with a 2.88-inch full tang stainless blade, black Micarta scales and a molded plastic sheath that holds the blade upside down.
A neck knife hangs from a cord under a shirt, which sets the requirements: light enough to forget, flat enough not to print through clothing, and held firmly enough that bending over does not drop it. The molded plastic sheath answers that last part, gripping the blade with a positive snap rather than friction, so the knife stays put when inverted against the chest.
