Beckson 24 in Thirsty-Mate Hand Pump with 24 in Hose

The Beckson Thirsty-Mate 24-inch hand pump removes standing water without an electrical connection. This version includes a 24-inch reinforced flexible hose for routing discharge away from the work area. Its self-priming plunger design is useful for bilges, compartments, and other accessible low spots.

A contoured red T-handle gives a secure place to grip during repeated strokes. Beckson uses gray polyvinyl in the pump body and shaft, avoiding the rust and hard edges associated with some metal hand pumps. The removable foot valve can be opened for cleaning if sediment blocks the inlet.

Beckson lists approximately 6 strokes per gallon and a nominal capacity of 10 gallons per minute for this 24-inch model.
