Balmar Bluetooth Gateway for SG200 Display

The Balmar Bluetooth Gateway adds smartphone access to an SG200 battery-monitoring system, on a 39-inch lead.

It matters most where the fixed display ended up somewhere awkward to read. Battery monitors get mounted near the batteries or at a panel in a locker, and information nobody can see conveniently is information nobody checks.

Phone access also means charge state can be checked without going aboard, which is useful on a boat left on a mooring. A bank draining from a stuck bilge pump or a failed charger is the kind of thing that only becomes obvious after the damage is done.

The gateway connects into an existing SG200 system and enables Balmar's smartphone app for supported functions.
