The Birchwood Casey 22-Piece AR-15 Cleaning Kit covers 5. It comes in an impact-resistant hard shell case with a kickstand that props the case up to display the tools. That keeps every piece visible and easy to grab while you work. The free-spinning, locking chuck handle lets the rod follow the rifling or lock in place.
The kit includes Free spinning and locking chuck handle, 4-piece brass cleaning rod, 1 bore brush, 1 bolt carrier brush, 1 slotted tip, 1 Steel cleaning pick, 6 Wool star chamber cleaning pads, 25 1" cleaning patches, 1 Straight pick, 1 90 degree angled pick, 1 Scraper, 1 Adhesive magnetic strip. For calibers: 5.56/.223. Everything has a place in the case. An adhesive magnetic strip holds small metal parts so they don't roll away.
The bolt carrier brush, star chamber pads, picks and scraper handle the carbon that builds up in an AR's chamber and bolt carrier group. Push a wet patch, scrub with the brush, then patch until clean. Finish with a light coat of oil. Browse more gun cleaning and maintenance.
