The Birchwood Casey Rifle Cleaning Mat is a 36 x 11 inch chemical-resistant rubber mat in black and red. It gives a rifle, tools and small parts a dedicated work surface. It keeps solvent, oil and fouling off the bench or table. The size fits a long gun with room for tools.
Rubber stands up to cleaning chemicals that would damage a table finish. It also keeps the rifle from sliding while you work. The red and black surface defines the work area.
Small parts are easier to spot on a mat than on a busy bench. It rolls up for storage when you're done. Wipe it down after each session. Pair it with a cleaning kit and vise for a full bench setup. It works for shotguns too. Browse more gun cleaning and maintenance.
