The Birchwood Casey 10 in 1/2 in Round Steel Targets is a 10 in round plate cut from 1/2 in thick steel. The extra thickness stands up to centerfire rifle and handgun use. A white finish makes the plate easy to see and easy to touch up with spray paint between sessions.

A round plate gives you a simple, clean aiming point for practice and drills. The 10 in size is a good all-around size for handgun and rifle practice. Painting the face between strings lets you see each new hit clearly.

Common safe practice with steel is to stay at least 10 yards back with handguns and 100 yards back with centerfire rifles. Hang the plate so it angles slightly down, never shoot steel-core or armor-piercing ammunition, and wear eye protection.
