Attwood 42 in LED Articulating All-Round Light

The Attwood LED articulating all-round light is designed to provide an all-around navigation signal from a removable or fixed pole-style installation. Its LED engine is designed to deliver strong output without the weight and heat of a traditional incandescent pole light. The lighter head reduces pole wobble, which helps the light remain steadier when the boat is moving through chop. Improved lens geometry produces cleaner light transmission and keeps the fixture cool enough to handle safely after extended use.

The head articulates so the installer can compensate for the mounting angle and keep the light oriented correctly. A two-pin connection with locking collar secures the pole in a compatible base while still allowing removal when needed. The sealed lighting assembly is intended for long service without routine bulb changes. Its low power draw also reduces demand on the vessel electrical system compared with older incandescent all-around lights. Attwood rates the light engine for more than 50,000 hours of use. The updated LED system is specified as 30% brighter and 60% lower in mass than Attwood’s earlier traditional LED design, helping reduce pole wobble. The optical pattern provides 360-degree coverage for vessels up to 39.4 ft (12 m).
