The Artisan Tradition has a 4-inch black finish D2 tool steel drop point blade, a black G10 handle, an extended tang, a lanyard hole and a pocket clip, closing to 5.13 inches.

At 4 inches the blade is long for a folder, and at 5.13 inches closed the knife fills a hand rather than perching in the fingers. That combination puts it closer to a fixed blade in cutting capacity. D2 holds a working edge far longer than the budget stainless usual at this price, and it needs to be dried after it gets wet since it is only semi-stainless.
