Description

The Ancor Yellow 10 AWG Tinned Copper Wire is a 250-foot spool of single conductor with Type 3 ultra-flexible stranding.

Yellow single conductor is the ABYC-coded DC negative for runs where the return goes to a bus rather than following the positive. That is how most boat DC systems are actually built, so single conductor gets used more than duplex once a boat is wired properly.

Ten gauge covers pumps, refrigeration, windlass control and heavier accessory circuits at moderate current. A 250-foot spool suits several such circuits, with the 500-foot version covering a full rewire.

Tinned copper strands resist corrosion and electrolysis in wet, salty and vibration-prone conditions. Ultra-flexible Type 3 construction routes through electrical panels and machinery spaces while withstanding repeated flexing, with premium vinyl insulation staying flexible in extreme cold. Explore more marine wire.

  • Yellow single conductor for returns going to a bus

  • 10 gauge for pumps, refrigeration and windlass control
  • 250 feet for several circuits, 500 for a rewire
