Description

The Ancor Red/Black 16/2 AWG Flat Duplex Cable is a 250-foot spool of tinned copper with Type 3 ultra-flexible stranding.

Two hundred and fifty feet of 16 gauge duplex covers a lighting and electronics refit rather than a full rewire. Light circuits are numerous but individually short, so this quantity goes further than the same footage in a heavier gauge would.

Sixteen gauge suits lighting, electronics, small pumps and low-draw accessories where both conductors run to one fitting. It is the size most often over-applied, and a run that is fine at ten feet will drop noticeable voltage at forty.

Red and black gives clear polarity identification following the traditional convention. The flat profile routes neatly behind panels and under trim, and ultra-flexible Type 3 tinned copper stranding resists corrosion, electrolysis, vibration and repeated flexing. Explore more duplex and triplex cable.

  • 250 feet covers a lighting and electronics refit
  • Light circuits are numerous but individually short
  • 16 gauge is the size most often over-applied
  • Fine at ten feet, marginal at forty
