Ancor Red 2 AWG Tinned Battery Cable 100-Foot

The Ancor Red 2 AWG Tinned Battery Cable is a 100-foot length with Type 3 ultra-flexible construction, rated 600V.

Two AWG is the practical starting point for serious DC work, covering windlass feeds, thruster circuits, inverter connections and main charging runs. Below it the cable is a branch conductor; at 2 AWG and above it is carrying real current and the connections have to be made properly with crimped lugs and heat shrink rather than screw terminals.

Tinned copper stranding protects against corrosion and electrolysis in wet, salty conditions. That protection matters most on a cable that will be terminated once and then left in a battery compartment for a decade.

Ultra-flexible Type 3 construction improves routing through battery compartments and machinery spaces while resisting vibration and repeated flexing.
