Zippo Genuine Replacement Flints 6 Pack

The Zippo Genuine Replacement Flints are a six pack for standard Zippo windproof lighters. These replacement flints are a routine service item for compatible Zippo windproof lighters rather than a separate ignition product. The six-pack format keeps several replacements together so a lighter can be serviced more than once before another pack is needed.

Six flints is roughly a year of normal use, since a flint lasts a few weeks to a couple of months depending on how often the lighter is struck. They cost almost nothing individually, and a pack kept in a drawer means a lighter is never out of action for want of a part worth pennies. Replacing a worn flint is part of normal lighter maintenance and does not require replacing the lighter itself.

Genuine Zippo flints are sized to the spring-loaded tube in the case, and generic flints that are slightly off-size either jam or fail to feed as they wear. Replacing one takes a minute: the insert lifts out, the base screw comes off, and the old flint stub drops out with the spring. Keeping spare flints available prevents a worn ignition component from taking an otherwise functional lighter out of service. Explore more lighters.
