Wichard 100mm Symmetric Carbine Hook Without Eye

The Wichard Symmetric Carbine Hook Without Eye 100mm is a stainless steel carbine-style hook for making detachable marine connections. Its symmetric outline provides a balanced hook profile. This version has no dedicated attachment eye. The hook can be used with compatible sailing and deck hardware.

Wichard includes fastening arrangements among the listed applications. Without an eye, the hook is suited to applications that do not call for that separate anchor point. The opening and hook length should be chosen for the hardware receiving the connection. When used as tether hardware, the complete tether assembly must meet the applicable safety requirements.

The specified marine working load is 2,640 lb. The breaking load listed for this size is 5,510 lb. The hook gate must engage fully around the attachment point. Check that the surrounding rigging does not press against the gate or force a side load. Browse more sailing hardware for related deck and rigging equipment.
