Wichard 25/28mm Stanchion Articulated Fairlead

The Wichard Articulated Fairlead for 25/28mm Stanchion helps turn a furling line along a sailboat’s stanchion rail. An articulated guide changes the line direction without requiring a fixed straight-through lead. Wichard specifies 316L stainless steel for this fitting.

The fairlead is intended for manual furlers and flying-sail furlers with drum arrangements. The articulated movement accommodates a changing approach angle for the control line. The guide is positioned to keep the furling line clear of neighboring deck fittings. The line must still run within the intended path of the complete furling system.
