Wichard 130mm HR Quick Release Swivel Eye Snap Shackle

The Wichard HR Quick Release Snap Shackle with Swivel Eye 130mm is a forged high-resistance snap shackle for sail-control connections. The swivel eye is arranged for connection to a single sheet or halyard. The body uses 17-4 PH stainless steel rather than standard 316L rigging steel. A lanyard-operated release distinguishes it from a conventional screw-pin shackle.

Pulling the release lanyard opens the shackle when it is necessary to disconnect the sail-control line. The rotating swivel lets the attachment turn as the line angle changes. The swivel-eye fitting is intended for a direct sheet or halyard connection.
