Wichard Black 8mm x 100mm Watertight U-Bolt

The Wichard Black Watertight U-Bolt 8mm 100mm is a U-shaped deck attachment fitting for rigging and related onboard connections. Its forged stainless steel body provides two threaded legs for the mounting surface. A black rubber collar forms the watertight seating arrangement around the deck opening.

The watertight design is intended to keep the deck penetration sealed as part of the specified installation. The fitting is suitable for deck fastening when paired with correctly rated fasteners and reinforcement. Wichard specifies forged construction for the U-bolt, not a bent wire loop. Choose the leg spacing and thread length to match the deck thickness and backing arrangement.

The published marine working load is 5,290 lb. The listed breaking load is 10,580 lb. The deck structure and backing hardware must support the intended load. Browse more sailing hardware for related deck and rigging equipment.
