The Whale Seaward 6-gallon galvanized heater with rear exchange puts the heat exchanger connections on the back of the unit. That layout helps when the engine coolant hoses need to reach the heater from behind. It runs on 240V at 1500W.

Choosing front or rear exchange comes down to how the heater sits in your boat and where the hoses route. Like the rest of the Seaward line, it is built for marine use, with a galvanized steel cover that resists corrosion at an affordable price. The controls are ignition protected.
