It adds walkie-talkie capability directly to the hearing-protection platform, keeping range or field communication close to the user instead of requiring a separate handheld radio for every exchange.

This Hybrid version also adds Bluetooth connectivity for compatible-device audio and communications. The accessory is intended to work with a Razor earmuff and does not provide hearing protection by itself.
