The low-profile sound-dampening housing uses Sound Activated Compression to react quickly to loud noise while omnidirectional microphones keep useful surrounding sound audible.

The FireMax uses a USB-C rechargeable lithium battery, cooling gel ear pads, a rubber Tacti-Grip headband, and a weather-resistant housing for longer sessions.
