TruGlo S&W M&P 4-Post Red Dot Sight Mount

The TruGlo S&W M&P Pistol Red Dot Sight Mount converts the factory rear-sight dovetail into a low-profile mounting point for compatible compact optics. It lets an M&P owner add a dot sight without sending the slide out for machining. This version is intended for supported M&P pistols and the common 4-post optic pattern used by TruGlo TRU-TEC Micro, Vortex Viper, Docter, Burris FastFire, and similar sights.

The mount is CNC-machined from billet steel and finished with TruGlo's nitride Fortress Finish for a durable interface between slide and optic. Replacing the rear sight keeps the optic lower than stacking it on a separate rail adapter. Installation still requires careful dovetail fit and correct hardware torque so the mounting surface stays square and secure.

This mount is useful for converting a non-optic-cut M&P into a red-dot-ready setup while preserving the original slide. Compatibility should be checked for both the exact pistol variant and optic footprint before installation, since this model is not an RMR-pattern plate.
