Description
The Trident 3in 90-Degree Blue Silicone Exhaust Elbow is a marine wet-exhaust component built to handle exhaust gas and cooling-water flow while tolerating the heat, vibration, and movement found between engines and exhaust plumbing. High-temperature silicone construction supports extended temperature capability and long service life.
The molded 90-degree geometry changes exhaust direction without requiring a fabricated rigid bend. The material resists common marine exposure such as saltwater, diesel fumes, ozone, heat, cold, and aging, with a listed maximum continuous temperature of 350°F.
Before installation, verify inside diameter, bend geometry, mating-pipe dimensions, clamp type, insertion depth, and support. Avoid creating low spots or excessive restriction in the wet-exhaust path. Tighten the supplied or specified T-bolt clamps evenly and recheck the installation after initial engine operation for leakage, movement, and clamp seating.
- The material is rated for continuous temperatures up to 350°F.
- The molded 90-degree elbow changes direction while preserving a smooth internal path.
- The construction is built to tolerate saltwater, fumes, ozone, temperature changes, and aging.
- Correct hose engagement and evenly tightened T-bolt clamps help maintain a leak-resistant wet-exhaust joint.
