TACO Latch-tite Stainless Steel Square Latch

The TACO Latch-tite Stainless Steel Square Latch gives a polished stainless-steel closure for compatible hatches, doors, and access panels. TACO Latch-tite hardware is designed for demanding marine environments, combining a finished appearance with a positive latching mechanism that can be installed in the orientation supported by the specific opening.

Cast Type 316 stainless-steel construction is used for the latch body, shafts, and tongues, providing corrosion resistance in exposed marine service. The lifting-handle configuration also gives the user a convenient grip for opening the panel after the latch is released, reducing the need for separate pull hardware.

Confirm cutout dimensions, panel thickness, tongue reach, mounting orientation, backing clearance, and required compression before installation. Position the latch so the tongue engages the strike fully without excessive force. Test opening, closing, and latching several times and verify the panel remains secure without distorting the surrounding surface.
