The Surefire M640U Scout Pro gives 1,000 lumens in black, with a 1913 Picatinny mount fitted, an M-LOK mount included and a Z68 tailcap.
Black is the finish for a setup built on factory furniture, which is most of them. Tan is chosen to match sand-colored handguards and stocks rather than for any functional reason. Beyond the finish this is identical to the tan M640U, at 1,000 lumens through the standard wide reflector.
The Scout mounts along a handguard rather than under a frame, putting the light forward where the support hand can reach the tailcap. A Z68 tailcap gives momentary from a press and constant from a twist, and both mounting systems are supplied in the box. Explore more weapon lights.
