Surefire Fury Dual Fuel Tactical 1,500-Lumen Flashlight

The Surefire Fury Dual Fuel Tactical gives 1,500 lumens in black, running CR123A or a rechargeable cell.

This is the tactical Fury, where the Intellibeam version adjusts output automatically. Tactical means the user selects the output and it stays there, which is what anyone wanting predictable behavior prefers. An automatic light changing brightness at the wrong moment is worse than one that simply does what it was set to do.

Fifteen hundred lumens is a substantial output for a handheld, enough to light a yard, a treeline or a large interior space. Dual fuel takes CR123A primaries or a rechargeable cell, so the light works on shop-bought batteries when no charged pack is available, which is the usual failing of a rechargeable-only light.
