Surefire DS07 Black Scout Light Pushbutton Switch

The Surefire DS07 is a Scout light tail assembly in black, with a click on and off pushbutton and an ST07 momentary-on remote tape switch on a 7 inch cable.

Two controls on one assembly is the design. The tailcap button clicks on and stays on for general use, and the remote pad gives momentary light while pressed. That covers both ways a light gets used: left running while working, or flashed briefly without announcing a position.

The ST07 plugs in rather than being permanently wired, so a damaged pad is replaced without changing the whole tail assembly. Seven inches of cable is short enough not to loop loose on a handguard, which is where a cable snags and gets pulled out. Explore more weapon lights.
