Sufix built its reputation as a specialist fishing line manufacturer before being acquired by Rapala in 2008, bringing the brand's monofilament, fluorocarbon, and braided line expertise into the wider Rapala family of fishing products. The brand focuses entirely on fishing line performance, developing advanced materials and coatings to meet the demands of serious anglers. CritPro carries a growing selection of genuine Sufix monofilament, fluorocarbon, and braided fishing lines.
Sufix is especially well known for its 832 braided line, developed in partnership with Gore, the makers of GORE performance fibers, which combines eight fibers for exceptional strength, abrasion resistance, and a smaller diameter per pound test. The broader lineup includes Elite and Siege monofilament lines, Advance and Invisiline fluorocarbon, and the Sufix Recycline Monofilament, the first fishing line made from 100% recycled materials.
Whether you're spooling up for finesse fishing, targeting line-shy species with fluorocarbon, or needing maximum strength and sensitivity from a braided main line, Sufix offers purpose-built fishing line engineered for real on-the-water performance. From everyday monofilament to advanced braided and fluorocarbon options, the brand provides dependable line trusted by anglers across species and techniques.
