Streamlight TLR-9 Flex 1,000-Lumen Weapon Light

The Streamlight TLR-9 Flex is a full-size black pistol light producing 1,000 lumens with a stated 1.5-hour runtime. Its longer body uses two CR123A lithium batteries, giving the light the power capacity needed for the higher output. High and low switch options are included so the rear controls can be matched to the user’s preferred reach.

The Flex switch system is useful on larger handguns because grip size and trigger-guard geometry can change how naturally the paddles fall under the finger. A 1,000-lumen output places the TLR-9 above the compact TLR-7 family when stronger illumination is the priority. The two-battery layout also makes this a different size and balance choice than a single-cell carry light.

This TLR-9 Flex is a good fit for a compatible pistol where full-size output matters more than minimizing overall length. Confirm the mounting interface and holster compatibility before installation. For smaller housings or rechargeable configurations, compare the rest of the weapon lights selection.
