Springfield Gray and Red Skipper Folding Seat

The Springfield Gray and Red Skipper Folding Seat is the Skipper standard folding seat in gray with red accents. It is a good match for boats with red striping or graphics. The rigid injection-molded frame keeps its shape, and the hinges are powder coated.

Skipper seats are a solid upgrade from economy folding seats for runabouts, fishing boats, and pontoons, with more padding for long days. Gray hides dirt better than white. The folding back lowers the seat profile for travel covers and keeps it out of the way when moving around the deck. The red accents also make it easy to coordinate a full set of seats across the boat for a consistent, finished look.

Fold the back down before covering the boat so the cover sits flat and does not hold water. Wipe the vinyl with a marine cleaner and protectant a few times each season to keep it from cracking. The white and blue Skipper is also in our seats, pedestals & slides. Check the bolts holding the seat to the pedestal at the start of each season, and tighten them if the seat has developed any play.
