Description

The SOG Flash AT in Urban Gray has a 3.45-inch D2 straight back blade in titanium nitride with a gray glass-reinforced nylon handle, assisted opening and SOG's XR lock.

Assisted opening means a spring finishes the motion once the thumb starts it, so the blade snaps out considerably faster than a manual folder. The XR crossbar lock then secures it, and being ambidextrous it works the same in either hand. The straight back blade keeps an unsharpened flat spine the full length, which gives somewhere to place a thumb for pressure during controlled cuts and leaves a strong point.
