SmartPlug White 30-Amp Inlet and Cord Connector Combo

The SmartPlug 30-Amp Inlet and Female Cord Connector Combo includes both the boat inlet and the cord-end connector, in white for 125V systems.

The kit converts an existing shore power cable to SmartPlug rather than requiring a whole new cordset. Both halves of the connection are here: the male boat inlet and the female cord end. Fitting only one would leave a boat that cannot connect to anything.

SmartPlug increases pin and clip contact area over a twist-lock interface, which addresses the overheating that worn twist-lock connections cause. That heat comes from a small contact area carrying 30 amps through a connection that has loosened over years of turning, and it is a common cause of dockside fires.

The asymmetrical plug shape only inserts in the correct orientation, so there is no aligning blades in the dark. Side clips and the inlet cover form a multi-point lock that keeps cable movement off the electrical contacts, and silicone seals block moisture at the inlet and plug body.
