SKB iSeries Black Single Handgun Hard Case

The SKB iSeries Black Single Handgun Hard Case is an iSeries case set up for a single handgun. It is a 3i-1208-3, with an interior of about 12 x 8 x 3 in, and it weighs about 2.4 lb. Custom foam holds one pistol securely so it does not shift in transit.

Every iSeries case is injection molded from ultra high-strength resin and sealed with a gasket, so it is waterproof, dust tight and submersible to IP67. The cases meet MIL-C-4150J, MIL-STD-648C and MIL-STD-810F standards and resist UV, solvents, corrosion, fungus and impact. An automatic pressure equalization valve lets you open the lid easily after a flight or a big change in altitude.

Trigger release latches snap closed securely and open quickly, and stainless steel loops accept padlocks for travel. A molded-in hinge and a rubber over-molded cushion grip handle hold up to years of use. The case is rated from -69 to 180 degrees F, so it can sit in a hot truck or a freezing cargo hold. Its compact size slips into a range bag, a vehicle console or a safe shelf, and it is a good case for flying with a handgun in checked luggage.
