The Sencut Skarnax has a 3.75-inch satin 9Cr18MoV stainless drop point blade, a black G10 handle, an extended tang, a thumb stud and a pocket clip, closing to 4.88 inches.

9Cr18MoV is the highest-carbon steel in the 9Cr family and roughly comparable to 440C, holding an edge noticeably longer than the 8Cr steels usual at this price while still sharpening back on an ordinary stone. At 3.75 inches the blade is long for a folder, and at 4.88 inches closed the knife fills a hand rather than perching in the fingers.

Both the extended tang and the thumb stud open the blade, so it works the same whichever hand reaches for it. G10 is fiberglass cloth cured in resin, holding its shape through heat, cold and damp where molded plastic can distort. Explore more Modern EDC Linerlocks.
