The Sea-Dog Yellow 12 AWG Primary Wire provides marine-grade DC-negative wiring for lighting, pumps, electronics, controls, and accessory circuits. Tinned copper stranding improves corrosion resistance and conductivity for dependable service in wet and saltwater environments.
The copper is annealed and finely stranded to provide flexibility and resistance to vibration, making the wire easier to route through consoles, electrical panels, and machinery spaces. Yellow insulation supports marine DC-negative circuit identification.
The wire is rated for 600V, 105°C dry, and 75°C wet service and is oil resistant. It is UL Listed Boat Cable, made in the USA, and available in colors that follow ABYC standards. For larger projects requiring long 12 AWG yellow conductor runs, this 250-foot spool provides durable marine-grade tinned copper construction. Worth comparing against our other marine wire.
