Sea-Dog 30-Degree Cast SS Flush Mount Rod Holder

The Sea-Dog 30 Degree Cast Stainless Flush Mount Rod Holder is investment cast 316 stainless steel with a cap. Its cast mounting flange allows a gasket, which reduces the leaking common on other cast rod holders. It takes rods up to 1-1/2 inches. Sea-Dog makes a wide range of marine hardware sized for recreational boats.

A UV-resistant PVC cap and full-length PE liner protect the rod. A 30 degree angle is the most common gunwale setting, spreading trolling lines away from the boat and from each other. Casting gives a solid, heavy feel in the gunwale. The design is made to hold up to saltwater exposure.

It installs with three #12 flat head fasteners, not included. Seal the flange properly to keep water out of the hull. Use stainless fasteners when installing to avoid corrosion where metals meet. Browse more rod holders.
