The Sea-Dog 30-Degree Cast Stainless Flush Mount Rod Holder is built with an investment-cast 316 stainless steel body, a UV-resistant PVC cap, and a full-length polyethylene liner. Its cast mounting flange is shaped to accept a gasket, which Sea-Dog specifies as a way to reduce the leakage that can occur around conventional cast rod-holder installations. The holder is set at a 30-degree angle and accepts rods up to 1-1/2 in.
