Description
The Power Systems Sea Brackets 16-Inch Straight Trolling Motor Plate fits Rhodan QRB and Minn Kota RTA-54 and RTA-62 brackets, in 1/2-inch 6061-T6 aluminum.
Sixteen inches is the compact straight plate, for a bow where space is limited but a rigid aluminum base is still wanted. The plate spreads the mounting load and simplifies the installation, turning four bolts through the deck into a distributed mount that a backing plate can support properly.
Tapped holes are kept clean of powder coat and accurately gauged, which matters because coating in a thread binds a bolt part-way. A fastener that feels tight but is not fully engaged is worse than an obviously loose one, since nobody goes back to check it.
Compatibility covers Rhodan QRB and Minn Kota RTA-54 and RTA-62 quick-release systems. Half-inch 6061-T6 aluminum, primed, powder coated and UV protected, with a universal layout for port or starboard and stainless fasteners, fender washers, backing plates and locknuts recommended.
