Scotty Propack 60 inch Telescoping Electric Downrigger

The Scotty 1116 Propack Depthpower Downrigger is the top choice of charter captains. It has a 36 to 60 inch telescoping boom. The 247 dual rod holder adds two 10 inch tube style holders.

It comes with 250 feet of 150 lb stainless cable. It lifts 7 lb weights at 235 feet per minute and 15 lb weights at 203 feet per minute, with fully adjustable descent speed. A Kevlar drive belt by Optibelt and a spray-protected positive-drive depth counter keep it reliable. Scotty says it has the lowest amp draw of any downrigger, less than a third of some competitors.

The 1023 tilt-up bracket lets you lock the unit upright, and the 1026 swivel pedestal mount has 16 positions. A multi-position auto-stop works with 1008 stopper beads to stop at any preset depth. It comes fully assembled, factory tested and with complete saltwater protection. It includes two Power Grip Plus releases, a 1148 weight storage hook and a Scotty/Marinco plug and receptacle.
