Scotty 400ft Premium Power Braid Downrigger Line

Scotty Premium Power Braid is a high-tech, low-drag, black microfilament braided downrigger line. It's built to replace the stainless steel cable most downriggers ship with from the factory.

Rated to 200 lb test, this custom manufactured braid offers real strength, consistency, and durability. Switching to braided line also helps combat the electrolysis that develops around fishing gear over time near stainless steel cable.

At 400ft, braided line also outlasts stainless steel cable in regular use. It holds up to the repeated spooling and unspooling a downrigger goes through trip after trip without the kinking that eventually weakens steel cable. Check out the rest of our downriggers.
