Scotty 2401K 300-Foot High-Performance SS Cable

The Scotty 2401K High-Performance Downrigger Cable gives 300 feet of premium stainless steel cable rated to 180 lb test. It's a genuine upgrade path for a downrigger running an older or lower-spec cable.

It comes complete with a Coastlock snap with swivel (No. 1153), 3 sleeves, 1 soft stop bumper, and 1 stainless steel thimble. That gives everything needed to finish the install rather than sourcing hardware separately.

That soft stop bumper matters in daily use. It cushions the impact when the weight comes up to the boom, rather than letting it slam into the pulley or roller guide every time it's retrieved. Explore more downriggers.
