Scandvik Chrome-Plated Heavy-Duty Basin Mixer

The Scandvik Chrome-Plated Heavy-Duty Basin Mixer is a single-hole basin faucet with quarter-turn ceramic valves for hot and cold water. A quarter turn takes each valve from closed to full flow. The heavy-duty chrome-plated brass body is made for a basin that gets used every day.

Ceramic discs wear far longer than rubber washers, so the faucet keeps shutting off cleanly instead of dripping after a season. That matters on a boat, where a slow drip can keep the water pump running and drain the tank. The single-hole design is easy to fit into an existing basin. Quarter-turn handles are also easy to operate with wet hands, and the chrome finish matches most marine hardware.

It mounts through a single 1.25-inch hole and connects with flexible supply lines and 1/2-inch NPS female fittings. Flush the supply lines before installing so debris does not lodge in the new valves, and use thread sealant suited to potable water.
