Description

The Samlex EVO-RC Remote Control suits EVO-2212, EVO-3012, EVO-2224 and EVO-4024 inverter chargers, with SD card storage and data logging.

The logging is what makes this more than a display, and it records the conditions leading up to fault events rather than just the fault. That is how an intermittent problem gets diagnosed. A fault code tells you what tripped; the log before it tells you why, and without that an intermittent fault is guesswork.

Logged information stores in text format that imports into spreadsheet software for analysis. Historic power consumption, inverter operation and charging activity are all recorded alongside the faults.

Parameters save to a removable SD card and transfer to other compatible units, which speeds up configuring or replacing an inverter. The display shows output voltage, frequency, amperage, watts, volt-amps, power factor, battery voltage, battery current and solar input current. Compatibility covers the four Evolution models listed rather than the F Series. Explore more battery charging accessories.

  • Logs the conditions before a fault, not just the fault
  • That is how an intermittent problem gets diagnosed
  • Text format imports straight into a spreadsheet
  • For EVO-2212, 3012, 2224 and 4024, not the F Series
