Safe-T-Alert 45-Series Black CO Propane Alarm

The Safe-T-Alert 45-Series combination alarm detects propane leaks and carbon monoxide at the same time. This black version mounts on the surface of a wall. It runs on 12 volt power, so there are no batteries to go dead or go missing.

The alarm is built and listed for the RV environment and meets RVIA and NFPA requirements. Propane is heavier than air and settles low, while CO comes from engines, generators and heaters, so one unit covering both saves space and wiring. An end-of-life signal tells you when the alarm has reached the end of its service life.

Safe-T-Alert recommends testing propane and CO alarms every week, replacing any that malfunction, and replacing all alarms 5 years old or older. Teach everyone aboard what the alarm sounds like and never ignore it when it goes off. Check the available mounting space and surrounding hardware before installation so a correct part number does not turn into a clearance problem. Browse more gas and carbon monoxide detectors.
