Description
The Rough Rider Mushroom Knife is a specialty foraging tool rather than a standard pocketknife, a polished 440A stainless blade paired with a brown wood handle that houses a built-in ruler and a brush.
That combination sets the Mushroom Knife apart from an ordinary folder: the blade is purpose-shaped for harvesting mushrooms cleanly at the base, the handle itself holds a 1.5-inch ruler marked in both standard and metric increments for measuring a find on the spot, and a natural boar's-hair brush stores inside the handle specifically for cleaning dirt and debris off a mushroom before it goes in the basket. At 5.38 inches overall, it's sized for use in the field rather than as a display piece. The polished finish keeps the blade looking clean, and the wood handle brings warmth and natural grain no synthetic material replicates. It's a thoughtful gift for anyone who spends time foraging in the woods, the kind of tool that shows thought went into the purchase. Explore more Traditional Knives.
