The Rite in the Rain Lead Holder is 5.13 inches overall in orange, taking 5.6mm lead in a triangular textured barrel with a pocket clip.

A 5.6mm lead is thick enough to mark rough surfaces that a normal pencil skids across: timber, concrete, stone and metal, as well as paper. That makes this a marking tool for a job site as much as a notebook, which is a different proposition from the 1.3mm mechanical pencil.
