RIGID Radiance+ 50 in RGBW LED Light Bar

The RIGID Radiance+ 50 in RGBW LED Light Bar combines a forward-driving beam with a separate color-changing backlight system. Eight backlight selections are available: red, green, blue, light blue, purple, amber, white, and a demo mode. The backlighting is controlled independently through switch logic, so it can be used for appearance or low-level accent lighting without changing the primary forward beam. This straight version follows the construction approach of RIGID’s E-Series family while adding the RGBW backlight feature.

The primary optics use RIGID’s Spot Drive pattern, which blends characteristics of a spot beam and a driving beam for forward visibility. A black exposed circuit board gives the bar a distinctive appearance behind the lens, while the high-grade aluminum alloy housing also acts as a heat sink. A high-impact polycarbonate lens protects the optical assembly, and a pressure-equalizing vent helps manage internal pressure changes. The housing is finished in black powder coat and carries IP68 protection against dust and water ingress.

The bar operates from 9 to 15V DC and this 50 in model draws 16.4A. Its listed weight is 14.00 lb. RIGID lists 3,015.09 lux at 10 m, a 1-lux beam distance of 549.1 m, a 0.25-lux beam distance of 1,098.2 m, peak beam intensity of 301,509 cd, and a horizontal beam angle of 19.7°. The electronics include over- and under-voltage protection along with RFI/EMI protection, and the product is RoHS compliant. RIGID specifies the Radiance+ series for off-road use and backs it with a 10-year warranty.

The package includes the 50 in Radiance+ light bar, a wiring harness, mounting brackets, and a media pack. The mounting system is compatible with E-Series covers and mounts appropriate to this bar style. Because the backlight and main beam have separate control logic, the switch arrangement should be planned before the final wiring is completed. The result is a bar that can serve as functional forward lighting while also providing a configurable accent effect when desired.
