RIGID RDS-Series PRO 20 in Black Spot LED Light Bar

The RIGID RDS-Series PRO 20 in Black Spot LED Light Bar uses a patented curved housing to follow the contours of modern windshields and bumpers while spreading light across a wider field than a straight bar. Its spot optic concentrates the beam for longer-range visibility, making it appropriate for off-road and utility applications where seeing farther ahead is the priority. The PRO-generation LEDs increase usable output over earlier RDS designs, and the internal presentation is updated with prominent branding and blacked-out circuit boards. The curve is therefore functional as well as cosmetic, giving the light a more integrated appearance without sacrificing forward reach.

The housing is high-grade aluminum alloy with a durable UV-resistant powder coat, an impact-resistant polycarbonate lens, and integrated thermal management. A pressure-equalizing vent helps manage internal pressure changes, while the sealed design is rated IP68 against dust and water ingress. The electrical system includes over- and under-voltage protection, reverse-polarity protection, and RFI/EMI protection. RIGID also lists SAE J575 compliance for shock and vibration and RoHS compliance for the product.

The bar operates across a 9 to 36V DC range and draws 16.72A under the listed specification. Operating temperature is rated from -40°F to 145°F, and the LEDs are specified for more than 50,000 hours of service. A waterproof connector is used on supported configurations, and the light is covered by RIGID’s limited lifetime warranty. The product is intended for off-road use only.

This 20 in model is supplied as a complete auxiliary-light unit rather than a replacement optic or housing component. Its curved format works well where a flat bar would look or fit awkwardly against a curved vehicle surface. Mounting position, electrical capacity, and final beam aim should be considered together before installation. That planning helps the spot optic deliver useful reach without placing glare where it interferes with the driver.
