It is designed for owners of legacy Deep Draft units who want to keep their toilet running since some original parts are no longer available on their own.

This kit includes the macerator retro-fit needed to convert an old Deep Draft unit to CD series specification. For those who'd rather not tear apart their existing unit, Raritan also offers a Crown Head Exchange program that swaps the old base for a new one at reduced cost.
