The QSP Nebula has a 3-inch mirror finish 14C28N Sandvik stainless clip point blade, a mother of pearl handle, an extended tang, a thumb stud, a lanyard hole and a pocket clip, closing to 4 inches.

Mother of pearl is cut from the inner layer of shell, where light striking the surface breaks into shifting colors that move with the viewing angle. Every handle is different because every shell is. It is also the most fragile handle material in common use. Shell chips if knocked against a hard edge, which makes this a knife for a pocket rather than a toolbag.

A mirror blade against pearl is a matched choice, both showing at their best new and both picking up fine marks with handling. 14C28N resists corrosion and takes a fine edge while sharpening back easily, so the working side holds up even if the finish does not stay pristine.
