Powerwinch Utility 1,500 lb Zinc Double-Wheel Trailer Jack

The Powerwinch Utility 1,500 lb Double Wheel Jack - Zinc is part of Powerwinch's Utility Series, built for straightforward lifting at an affordable price. It is rated for 1,500 lb and has a zinc finish over durable steel construction. The simple manual design is easy to install, operate and maintain.

The bolt-on mount clamps to the trailer tongue with a bracket, so you can install it with hand tools and no welding. That also makes it easy to move or replace later. The double wheel spreads the tongue weight across two wheels, which rolls more smoothly and sinks less on soft ground. It is a good fit when you move a loaded trailer around by hand on gravel or grass. Powerwinch builds the Utility Series for light-duty and occasional use, like a small boat trailer or a light utility trailer at home. It is a no-frills jack for owners who want reliable support without extras.

A jack's rating applies to tongue weight, which on most boat trailers is roughly 5 to 10 percent of the loaded trailer, so a 1,500 lb jack covers loaded trailers up to roughly 15,000 lb. Check the tongue weight of your loaded trailer with a tongue scale or bathroom scale method before choosing a size. Other sizes, mounts and wheel styles are in our trailer jacks section.
